Speedy Signs Rotorua was opened by Darren Burborough and Richard Haigh on the 16th of April 2007. It may be part of a much larger international franchise (a member of the worldwide Sign*A*Rama franchise with over 800 locations in 40 countries), but we are 100% locally owned and operated.
Both Darren and Richard were born and raised in Rotorua. They took a few years to travel the world, but have come back to their roots and are raising families of their own here. They have a very good knowledge of the town, people, culture and business of Rotorua. Being locally owned and operated, Speedy Signs Rotorua have the ability to make fluid decisions during a project, the resources to find the right people to work with and maintain strong relationships within the local business community.
… but the team doesn’t just consist of two local lads who are the backbone of the business. Speedy Signs Rotorua is a strong team that are just as passionate and dedicated to their individual roles. These include our award winning designer, our talented hands on crew and our Client Account Specialist, who all ensure that you get what you want, when you want it! We have a great team here at Speedy Signs Rotorua – we work hard, have fun and are very proud of the products we provide to our clients.

Being recognised in a national competition is rewarding for Speedy Signs Rotorua, but is also another testament to our creativity and performance as a signage company. Speedy Signs Rotorua believes that it is important to be involved with our community. The charities supported include Rotorua Community Hospice Trust, Rotorua Parents Centre, Aroha Mai Cancer Trust and Ronald McDonald House (Rotorua Retreat) Centre, just to name a few. Speedy Signs Rotorua also support and sponsor our local sports clubs including the CBOP Junior Rugby, Kahukura Rugby and Sports Club, Springfield Golf Club, The BOP Steamers, and the Rotorua Stockcar Club.
